Though it´s home to "Sentimental Journey" ? an authentically restored WWII B-17 ? and the top public golf course in Arizona, Mesa, is no longer just a popular retirement community! In fact, at about 450,000 residents, it is the third largest city in Arizona and the 43rd largest in the United States ? more populous than Atlanta, St. Louis, Minneapolis, or Miami, FL.

Mesa has one of the highest growth rates in the country, and it´s no wonder with its gorgeous year-round weather, growing multi-sector economy and ample indoor and outdoor attractions. Both established and growing industries feed Mesa´s local economy, which features large employers such as Boeing and Banner Health Systems. Mesa´s vibrant economy is also supported by its well-educated population, and it is home to several institutions of higher learning including Arizona State University´s Polytechnic College, A.T. Still University and the Arizona School of Health Sciences. The Mesa Public School District is known for outstanding attention to basic skill sets, innovative curriculum design and extensive student resources.

Mesa boasts over 330 days of sunshine a year ? perfect for taking advantage of Sunsplash Water Park, Gene Autry Sports Complex, Hohokam Stadium, beautifully groomed Dobson Ranch and Riverview golf courses, Quail Run Dog Park, and countless other recreational facilities. Just a short drive away, you can fall in love with the breathtaking desert landscape on the many hiking, biking, and equestrian trails that wind their way through the Superstition Mountains.

Upscale cultural attractions abound in this sophisticated East Valley community. The Mesa Arts Center is a beautifully designed, state of the art, four-theatre arts complex. Three public arts projects by world-renowned artists have been incorporated into the design of the Center, perhaps the most astonishing of which is the award-winning Fragmented Landscape by Ned Khan. It features thousands of aluminum panels that create an image of moving sand dunes or rippling water, depending on how the wind moves through them and how you look at them. Mesa has several revolving public art exhibits, and annually hosts "Sculptures in the Streets" wherein the City invites local residents to display their art collections in public places. Additionally, there´s the Mesa Amphitheatre which hosts concerts for popular entertainers such as Sting, Melissa Etheridge and Cheryl Crow, to name a few.  The Commemorative Air Force Museum, abundant citrus groves and The Sirrine House are other popular Mesa attractions.

U.S. Highway 60 and the San Tan Freeway, also known as Loop 202, make driving to the Superstition Springs Center, Fiesta Mall, or the upscale Village Square at Dana Park a breeze.  Local produce is plentiful, and whole foods grocers such as Henry´s and Sprouts can also be found.  Visit www.cityofmesa.org for more information about Mesa and visit us, The Spencer Rosas Team, for more information about moving to Mesa.
